Quite frankly, they are correct. I am one of them, and I am craving for spring. And this time around is football-oriented. Searching for a well-played football tee is surprisingly hard in reality. While they are telling me hues of ocean, aqua blue is the next thing; I feel it really isn't a complimentary colour for Asian skin tone. Now what's next?

It draws closer to my departure date, (tomorrow), I had a new proud outfit. Literally since I successfully introduced my new piece (legging) to the vintage family crew. Quite a bonus, the sun tagged along. I have been living in my suitcase for 1 month and a half, the "if only," monologues gets louder towards the end. Glad to be on my way home on a curve ball.

Another pit stop at Tokyo. I don't plan my itinerary except for lots of girl talk, and a Jazzy-sport dj event on the real-ladies night (Thursday). My brother introduced me the budgeting system. Foreign, but I am willing to play the game. Instruction is simple: $400 from the month of February to April. Giftng is not under the act; Free-trade, just like how the Internet supposed to be.

Call me old school but I think during today is perfect for some red. It uplifts the body spirit in the most stressful month of the year. Still firm on against the Hallmark-ized gifting tradition, but any holiday with families is worth celebrating. My family is not super glue. Everyone is dispersed randomly around the world. Pittsburgh, Vancouver, Shanghai, Taipei; that makes four stops within five members. This long over-due Christmas is the first proper gathering in a decade. All these verbal disagreement, resistant against the old, and "I think" debates seem so irrelevant and microscopic.

It's a book with warned caution; it will forever change the way you flip through Vogue. It passes through six months of a designer's life, stories told by Anonymous - a collection of high-profile fashion insiders. It's like double Big Mac in the fast-food industry; heavy substance.

I was Unkle Karl for Hallowe'en part I. It was a casual, stress-free costume. I practically have everything I need. Except the "Your Honor," white wig, which was super easy to find. Went to work like this. Yes, a work where it consists of hot barbeque grills, fry goods and lots of running in circles. Quite in character; I served in French -ish. Served a table of Mainland girls; each carrying my iconic quilted bag.

This outfit is too golden for November; it's got that urban American street fashion, and the shoes are made for walkin' (for 9 blocks). This is my go-to uniform for pulls and returns. Why do we women take work so seriously now? Right, the economy...The shoes originally didn't come with the silver tip. I modified the detail to fall in love with an old piece again. It takes a while to convert everything into silver. Yes, I am that OCD about hardwares. The trick is a little aluminum foil goes a long way.

It has been the usual Raincouver weather, these boots really is my best go-to shoes during rainy season. The taro purplish grey is a colour that I can wear all year round, while I can't say the same for mobile technology. Were any of you stayed tuned with Apple's new press release? I believe during seasons change, there is a simulated pattern where it falls back to previous season, say summer, before it becomes official. That was the day of summer break. A suited lunch date on a weekday; perks for working in the serving industry. After several days of a vegetarian diet, I am ready to venture against the Slimfast bars. I figure, it's best if I can share my ups and downs with you, or as record-keeping. My eldest brother's big day is this December and as an immediate member, there will be some spotlight. I hope.

I swear my roommate secretly laughs at me for the amount of times he caught me wearing fur in my room all these summer days. Faux fur of course.

It was first block, Science 10 class. It was the first year that my high school has installed television in classrooms. Who knew it would be used under this circumstance? Distant reporters cutting in and out of newsroom, LIVE bold captions, jaw-dropping silence among the usual chatty teenage crowd. These images have imprinted in my head. Whether or not 9/ II is a conspiracy act, let us remember the brave souls, anonymous fighters, and those whose lives have been deeply affected by this tragedy.

First trip to New York. I could easily be lost among the department stores, Fifth Avenue, and boutiques, but we dedicated an afternoon to visit where it matters the most. A place where material things seem so childish, and worthless. A decade has gone by and today is dedicated to the soul.

Sept 08 is an annual fashion event that started in NYC, but is now celebrated globally. Usually, Vancouver is about 7 years behind of any major cities, so FNO does not exist here... yet. This is when live funk music compensates to my grief. I went to see Dam Funk (LA) that particular Thursday night. It was his third appearance in Vancouver these past 2 years. And I must say, third time is really a charm. He bolted during his encore at the fault of the sound system. Raw.

NYC's Broadway-Lafayette is a district of insane shopping. A street where there's retail giants like Topshop, and Uniqulo sleeps and there is also little independent boutiques that creeps. That is where I met my top. Last night, I literally needed more than five outfit changes before I head out. Seeing Janet Jackson live at concert is like going to a Sunday church. Scratch that. It was better than church.

The emotion was at its boiling point when she performed Scream, I could barely hold it in. It was a perfected roller-coaster performance. It had me singing, jumping, tearing and anything dramatic, all through the night.

Who knew cut-off shorts can be so fringy? I did the cake-layering effect on these shorts, and threw them in the wash. Like genie, these little laundry elf make wonder, and created that thorough fringy aftermath. This is trick is to be used once only; anything after that I would suggest the good old hand-washing technique. Good thing I am not that OCD when it comes to my denim.

Growing apart with bangs is like getting out of a relationship. There are times when you think you are doing just fine, they creep up on you, when you are least expected. I am still at that awkward stage where center or side part just fuels my frustration. Just sorted out some final details on my booking next Monday. It will be a while until my next online triumph. It has to be. My favourite season is approaching by and it's gonna be hard to refrain from updating fall pieces. Knits and fur are two of my weakest links. It's nice to see colour blocking, which is huge in summer this year, transcends to fall. Making these guilty summer pleasures last a few more weeks. I'm shooting for a fall feature tonight, with a late-night call time. It's tough to imagine what November will be like when Vancouver has just started its summer.

Styling seems so glamourous on television; really you don't put the shades on that often, and you never get to finish your coffee, since you always have arms full of garments. And when designers/ boutique are examining the returns under a microscopic eye, your heart thumps hard and loud. I have a dress that didn't make cut and needed dry cleaning. My heart, again, is hanging by a thread.

It feels like I have these boots since forever because they go with everything I have. It didn't take long until I opted for another similar pair in black (online again). But as I was carrying garment bags, styling kit, shoe bags, plus my drip coffee, I accidently spilled coffee on these shoes.... Styling Tip alert! I waited for the stain to dry, and use a regular eraser and erase off the stain gently.

Anyone living in Vancouver knows how good last Sunday was. The sun came, and stayed, no rowdy drunks on the street (yet), and Granville was blocked off for street vendors/ events. Went a bit dressier than my typical Sunday outfits. I bought the shorts a couple weeks ago at Aritiza's summer sale. Man, I always have love/hate feelings towards them. While the clothes are minimalistic chic in nature (which I love), but the shopping experience there was just so... not cool. Spent some time at summer nigh market, market food always seems to be my thing.

After three weeks of walking off their job, Canada Post has finally decided to play it nice. My Elizabeth & James wedge has finally arrived! Still not fully adjusted to fine leather footwear, I stop and check if they are scuffed every 10 minutes like a mad woman. Knits have slowly migrated back into my closet again, only small traces of spring and summer left on my polish and accessories. Thanks to global warming, I'm not really sure if summer visited Vancouver. Regardless Mr. Postman I'm still missing my other package.

I like my denim shirts baggy, but I am still trying to figure out what men's size fits me best. H&M's men fits European, so it's a tad smaller than North American fit. Didn't realize until I wrote this entry that I'm H&M head-to-toe. Can you imagine a world without H&M? Sample sales don't just happen every week in Vancouver. That being said, Versace will design for H&M this year. Mark your iTronics, and agendas - November 17 is gonna be a wild ride. I lost my combat partner in designer x H&M battlefield. This is a serious fringe addiction. Fringe has become the second biggest dependency in life, creeping behind anything leopard. Pairing handbag, sandals and cardigan all together is a first. All that was missing was an outdoor jazz festival! Many Vancouverites might jump me for saying this, but I really enjoy the breezy weather lately. After experiencing sticky, unbearable Asian summer weather, the thought of being able to wear a beanie in July feels like eating free cake.
